Hubam Sweet Clover is adapted to clay upland soils that have a pH of 7 or higher. Hubam is a white flowered annual that produces tall stem growth. It is best used in a pasture mixture or for soil improvement of cropland. It is very useful for wildlife as deer will consume the leaves, and quail will consume the seed. An upright, tall, open branched legume common on a variety of sites including roadsides and disturbed area. Readily browsed by whitetail deer and consumed by livestock. A significant pollen producer for honey bees. Planting Rate: 12-15 lbs. per acre. Planting Depth: 1/4"-1/2".
