Mosser Lee Long Fibered Sphagnum Moss is harvested from perennial live plants that grow in rich Wisconsin renewable marshlands. Unlike peat moss or sphagnum peat, which are nonrenewable, dead products dug from the earth, Mosser Lee Sphagnum Moss absorbs up to 20 times its weight in water. It has nearly twice the moisture-retentive power as peat.
